Happily, the sad news posted at the beginning of the year has been reversed thanks to the suggestion of a young friend of ours. He said that the "brick" that is part of the AC cord may have absorbed the 220 volts and therefore was the only piece that fried. That meant that the cube itself could still work with a new cord.
A neighbor was going to the States to visit family during February break. I ordered a cord and had it shipped to her and she brought it back. Last night we tested it and.... It Worked!
I didn't have a chance to do "Animal Crossing", too much to get ready for the Morocco trip. There will be gaming when we return.
Terry, ER and I are off to Morocco today and will be back on Sunday. The parents are staying at the Rabat Hilton and the daughter will be with a host family. JA is staying with her best friend and is looking forward to it. We'll be back in touch next week when we return.
The daffodils and crocuses are blooming all over the place. Buds are on the trees. Spring is about to pop here in Holland.
